HWNT donates $200.00 check to Mothers of the Military Servicemen.

The Hispanic Women's Network to have Mothers of the Military Servicemen (M.O.M.S.)
Norma Molina and Florinda Villacana are the
proud mothers of J. D. Molina and Everado Villacan. Two native sons who
recently were left with only their shirts on their back along with 58
other soldiers. The barrack that they were staying in was engulfed by
flames when an electric wire caught fire.
This month meeting will be dedicated to asking for donations in
order to send the U. S. Marines 3/6 Lima Co. some needed items such as
socks, briefs, T-shirts, personal hygiene items radios and cameras, due
to the electrical fire that burned their camp down a few day ago. This
marines have lost all their personal belongings. They are in much need
of important items which are mentioned above.
HWNT members are welcome to bring or ask for donations to bring to
the meeting, what they are asking for is nothing compare to the life
they are putting in harms way for us all.
The Hispanic Women's Network is a state wide nonprofit
organization made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds who are
committed to promoting the participation of women in public, corporate
and civic life. It seeks to advance the educational, cultural, social,
legal and economic well being of women through a broader awareness of
their role in society, business and the family. It welcomes into its
membership anyone who is supportive of its purposes and who cooperates
in carrying out its programs of education and activities.
HWNT membership consists of professional business women; of these
65 to 70 percent are business owners with a common goal: to mentor and
educate the entire membership.
The Hispanic Women's Network (RGV Chapter), is a nonprofit 501C/3
organization that promotes its members and invites anyone who is
interested in networking to attend the monthly luncheons that are held
every second Wednesday of each month at the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
The Hispanic Women's Network of Texas, Rio Grande Valley Chapter
will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the
McAllen Chamber of Commerce (1200 Ash Street) at 12:00 (NOON).
For reservations or membership information, call Alida S. Hernandez at at 956-687-7766.
Reservations must be made by evite or by calling in by noon the Tuesday
before the meeting. (Reservation made reservation paid).
HWNT membership consist of professional business women, of these
